There are moments that I still find it hard to believe that we aren’t actually living out a Hollywood disaster movie.  Thankfully the situation has improved but sadly, unlike in the movies, there is no quick fix and the situation is certainly lasting longer than 120 minutes!

The constant reminder that we are not living our ‘normal’ lives, apart from a husband and kids continually under foot, is face masks.  Am I the only one to still walk out of the house without one? To add to the complaints, I’m just warming up here, I really dislike them.  They’re hot and often smelly and you can’t see people’s wonderful smiles or clearly hear what they’re saying.

I know, they’re keeping us and those around us safe.  I have to just get on with it. If it keeps someone from getting ill it is worth the irritation. With this in mind I’ve decided to invest.  Instead of the endless stream of horrid, itchy, disposable masks I’m going to purchase something comfortable, soft and interesting.  And of course it is a great excuse to invest in a new fashion accessory!

The question is, which one to choose?

A unique design from www.bellhutley.com

Stand out from the crowd with sequins from www.rockthejumpsuit.com

Pretty Liberty floral from www.ridleylondon.com

Smooth silk from www.maimie.co.uk

Add a splash of colour from www.stberts.com

It’s a touch decision, perhaps I’ll get two. Stay safe!
